A branding and web design project for Baci Studio, a creative venue located under the Manhattan Bridge in Dumbo, New York - a place where art, design, and community converge. The studio serves as both a gallery and a café, offering artists and emerging designers an accessible platform to showcase and sell their work, while bringing affordable art to the public. The concept draws inspiration from the studio’s immediate surroundings - the sound of trains, the hum of the city, and the industrial beauty of the bridge above. The result is a visual and digital identity that captures the pulse of its environment: bold yet human, urban yet warm, sophisticated yet open to all.
Challenge
To craft a digital and visual identity for a New York–based venue that lives and breathes art - a space that bridges accessibility and authenticity.
The challenge was to merge the raw, urban pulse of Dumbo - the noise, the trains, the bridge - with the refined sensibility of art and design. The website needed to feel alive and reactive, echoing the physical environment while welcoming both emerging designers and art lovers.
Solution
We designed a brand and website that translate the energy of the studio’s surroundings into a living digital experience. Inspired by the Manhattan Bridge and the rhythm of passing trains, the site subtly reacts to sound and time, creating a poetic interruption that mirrors life under the bridge. The visual language blends raw textures with clean typography, balancing chaos and clarity - making art approachable, alive, and accessible to everyone.
